Subway & Biggby
Project Summary
This project transformed a distressed former Captain D’s restaurant into a fully rebuilt Biggby Coffee and Subway combination store, designed to operate as two independent businesses under one roof. Oak & Stone Construction performed a complete interior and exterior gut, rebuilding the structure to support dual, fully functional drive-through operations while meeting modern commercial and brand standards. The result is a clean, efficient, and highly visible retail space tailored for high-volume customer flow.
The scope of work included all new structural components, mechanical systems, and interior finishes. Careful coordination was required to integrate two distinct tenant layouts, equipment needs, and operational requirements within a single building footprint. Oak & Stone managed the project from demolition through final build-out.
In addition to the building renovation, the project included installation of a full storm detention system at the rear of the property to meet site drainage and municipal requirements. This comprehensive approach highlights Oak & Stone Construction’s ability to handle complex commercial redevelopments—delivering turnkey solutions that transform underperforming properties into modern, revenue-generating spaces.
